RyCa's 'REFRESH' concert to Play at the Union Theatre for One Night Only

On June 9th, the company of 'Refresh' will be heading to the Union Theatre for two performances. The event is described as a 'MT Cabaret turned Pop Concert designed to get new audiences invested in the world of Musical Theatre'.

'REFRESH' is moving from strength to strength, with the exciting and eclectic cast rising to yet another invitation to perform. Since the cabaret was created in August last year, they've performed in unusual spaces like Foundation Bar, Creative hotspots like 'The Hospital Club' or 'Live At Zedels', as well as bringing the cabaret to audiences outside London. With the unique mission statement of 'getting new audiences invested in Musical Theatre', RyCa Creative boss Ryan Carter is clearly on to a winner.

On the official RyCa Creative Website, Ryan Carter posted 'SURPRISE! We're doing another one', admitting that the latest addition to the Refresh calendar was a last minute thing. 'Refresh is nearly 1, and I've insisted on at least 2 new additions for every event we've played at. Because of this, we have such an exciting and extensive catalogue of 'Refresh'-ed material, and it allows us to throw together an kick-ass event with very little notice. Despite only having 3 weeks to get it together, I know that it's going to be another incredible evening celebrating the core of Musical Theatre. The music!'

RyCa Creative has also recently branched out to include a training element to the popular hub of musical theatre talent. Their first 'Vocal Intensive' course is a 12 week programme that gives singers private lessons, rep classes, ensemble classes and casting workshops, as well as arming them with a show reel and a live showcase. The first course culminates on July 1st, with RyCa's waiting list already condoning a second series.
