To celebrate 40 years of one of Britain's best loved animated characters, MR BENN is brought vividly to life in a brand new musical production by the creators of The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom.
Tall Stories and the Rose Theatre are delighted to bring you MR BENN, an ordinary man, who lives on an ordinary street and makes the same ordinary journey every day to his office. Until one day he receives an extraordinary invitation.MR BENN's world is turned upside down when he stumbles across a small dusty shop overflowing with costumes. As if by magic, the Shopkeeper appears and shows Mr Benn into a changing room. But this is no ordinary changing room - it contains a special door that leads to adventures... Will Mr Benn ever be ordinary again?Join MR BENN at the Rose theatre this May in a magical, musical production for the whole family.Interviews available.
