Recipe For A Perfect Housewife Hosts Vintage Wednesdays,Cupcake Thursdays
Recipe For a Perfect Wife, a comedy with music set in a 1950s TV?studio during a recording of the hit show 'Britain's Best Housewife', has had its booking period at the West End's Charing?Cross Theatre extended to Thursday December 22.
The production now plays every Wednesday &?Thursday at 10.00pm (the show runs 65 minures without an interval).
The producers are also introducing fun-themed nights:
On Vintage Wednesdays, audience members are encouraged to come along in retro clothes.
Thursdays are being branded Cupcake Thursdays, with delicious designer cakes laid on with an aftershow meet and greet with the cast.
Recipe For a Perfect Wife peeks beneath the glossy veneer of the picture perfect world of the 1950s housewife. Every woman who knows her place wants to be the perfect wife. And what could be better than appearing on the hit TV show 'Britain's Best Housewife' which is putting housewives to the test?
The women all know the rules: Never talk politics, wear trousers, or speak before their husbands, but will they crumble under the pressure?
