Popular Comedian Set To Lark About As Stand-Up Show Returns To Town
A celebrated comedian is hitting the road once again as he prepares to entertain fans with a compendium of hilarious tales and musical jokes.
Warrington is set to welcome a stand-up star dubbed by The Telegraph as "the brainiest comic of his generation" when he returns to Parr Hall this week.
Bill Bailey is heading to town on Wednesday and Thursday as part of his Larks in Transit tour; a side-splitting show of traveller's tales and general shenanigans from his 20-year career as a travelling comedian.
Having already enjoyed one sell-out show back in March, the TV favourite decided to return to Parr Hall for two additional dates in June to delight even more fans with this exceptional show.
Armed with his trademark intelligence and musical virtuosity, Bill Bailey's Larks in Transit is a kaleidoscope of comedy that tackles politics, philosophy, and - of course - the pursuit of happiness, with a number of surreal tangents thrown in along the way.
And if that's not enough, this comedic genius will flaunt his myriad skills by fashioning a symphony from a ringtone, telling the real story of Old McDonald, and re-imagining the famous Stars and Stripes.
No stranger to acclaim, Bill Bailey has won the admiration of critics from across the globe, being described by The New York Times as "a treat for the funny bone, the brain and the ear", and "pretty much unmissable" by The Herald Sun in Melbourne.
In addition to his "wicked sense of humour" (The Times), Bill Bailey is also renowned for his musical prowess, having delighted fans across the UK with his musical comedy extravaganza, Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra. Performing alongside some of the UK's finest orchestras, the show allowed fans a rare opportunity to see the comedian's surreal and musical imagination at its very best.
Having won the hearts of the nation on top TV shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and QI, Bill Bailey is now coming to you live when he visits Warrington's Parr Hall on Wednesday 13 June and Thursday 14 June.
Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com or by calling Box Office on 01925 442345.
