Photo Flash: SUMMER DREAMING UK Tour Kicks Off Tonight

A new 'experience theatre' production kicks off its inaugural UK tour at the Melton Theatre tonight 8 August. Summer Dreaming: Greased Up & Ready to Roll is this year's 'greasiest homage to a bygone era when Elvis was King and all a girl dreamed about was becoming Prom Queen'. This fully choreographed, highly interactive roller coaster will celebrate iconic music from the movies, musicals and pop sensations of the 50's & 60's. The production is Stage Acts Entertainment's latest offering whilst its current production, An Evening of Dirty Dancing: The Tribute Show, now celebrating its 5th Anniversary, continues to tour the UK into 2016.

Summer Dreaming features Julian Essex-Spurrier (West Side Story, Miss Saigon) and Hannah Goodwin (Some Enchanted Evening) in the leading roles and is directed by Paul Spicer with choreography by Christina Cuttell.

Relive the good old days with the Summer Dreaming gang as they take you back to a time of jiving, soda shops and high school hops, featuring music by The Shangri-Las, Frankie Valli, Neil Sedaka, Connie Francis, Elvis, Lulu, your favourite 50's high school movie musical and more! Summer Dreaming is a fully interactive extravaganza featuring authentic costumes and iconic dance moves, so be prepared to find your inner Teddy Boy or Girl, and sing along!
