Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) has appointed Nick Parr in the role of Theatre Director at New Wimbledon Theatre.

He joins ATG from Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre where he was Chief Executive. Nick's role had direct line management responsibility for the two artistic directors, marketing, finance, administration, HR and development (fundraising). Commenting on his new role Nick said: "New Wimbledon Theatre sits at the heart of SW19. Our ambition over the next few years is to grow audiences, increase the number of performances and play an even bigger role in our community. I'm looking forward to joining the brilliant team at Wimbledon and to playing my part in the continuing success of this great theatre. It has been a long-held ambition of mine to work for ATG and I'm excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this visionary company."

Richard Wingate, ATG Business Director (UK Venues) said: "I am delighted that Nick Parr will be leading New Wimbledon Theatre and Time & Leisure Studio. He brings with him a wide range of theatre leadership experience and I look forward to seeing him build on the success we have already achieved."
