Nominated twice for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show and Total Fringe Sell Out 2015 and 2016, Sarah Kendall returns with her brand new show One-Seventeen - a blistering new hour of storytelling from the creator and star of the highly critically acclaimed hit BBC Radio 4 series Australian Trilogy.
It is seventeen minutes past one; Maureen can't find her husband in a cafe. A critically-ill hamster lies on a vet's table. And an astronaut prepares to re-enter the atmosphere.
Playing with the short story format, the audience is drawn into an eclectic mix of interwoven stories that celebrate humanity in all its bizarre guises.
It is a show about a number, and all the people contained inside it.
Sarah is a storytelling maestro, effortlessly combining comedy and tragedy in equal measure.
Sarah's tales blend intricate narratives with a cast of memorable characters, providing belly laughs along with moments of heart wrenching poignancy.
