Michael Winner is to bring his one-man show, Michael Winner: My Life in Movies and Other Places, to the King's Head Theatre for a one-night only fundraiser for the theatre.

About the show: "This night with with the film director, Sunday Times food critic and columnist includes a great many hilarious stories of his times working with movie stars including Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Robert Mitchum, Anthony Hopkins, Faye Dunaway, Charles Bronson, Burt Lancaster and many others on films such as of Death Wish, The Big Sleep, The Wicked Lady, The Nightcomers and Hannibal Brooks."

Audience questions are an integral part of the show.

Michael Winner: My Life in Movies and Other Places premiered in 1966 at the National Film Theatre, London and has since been updated and adapted. It has played at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and Washington, at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles and at Oxford and Cambridge universities. The show has been seen by Burt Lancaster, Francis Ford Coppola, John Landis. Michael Crawford, Oliver Reed and many other stars and movie directors.
