Dates and Times: Wed 7 April to Sun 11 April - Wed/Thurs11am/2pm, Fri 2pm/5pm, Sat/Sun 11am/2pm. Baby Friendly performances on Thurs & Sun at 11am.
 
A delightful and playful interpretation of a well-known tale – with porridge and bears and one-two-three chairs. A tale that’s not too BIG and not too small but just right.

Suitable for age 3-7. Duration: 50 minutes

The Fabulous Flutterbys

This brand new production follows the adventures of two very different caterpillars who eat their way to success!  On their journey in search of their missing friend  they encounter, among others, a blues-singing slow worm and a patch of mean strawberries – all before becoming beautiful flutterbys.

THE LITTLE ANGEL THEATRE SUMMER PARTY

Saturday 10th July, 1-5pm

Our annual summer party is open to all and its FREE!  You can join in with puppet making and tours of the theatre, plus face painting and lots of other fun activities for everyone from age 0-100!  You can join in the theme of our “Angel Bug Ball” by coming in costume, and make a lovely butterfly to attach to our new Green Wall.
 
PUPPET PASSPORT EASTER PROJECT  EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITY

Make the most of your Easter holidays by creating your own puppets.  Guided by our professional workshop leaders, this is suitable for anyone age 5-11.  Take part for just one day or all five days.

Dates: Mon 12 - Fri 16 April, 10am-4pm each day

£45 / £30 concession for one day or £140 per person / £105 concession for all five days

 
KIDS FUN DAY  HALF TERM ACTIVITY

Top quality puppet making for 5-11 year olds.  See a performance of The Fabulous Flutterbys in the morning and then create your own puppet in the afternoon.

TERMLY CLUBS (Summer Term)

 
CRAFTY KIDS

Age 2-5 yrs plus parent/carer

Our popular Saturday morning 8 week club for 2-5 year olds and their carers.  See a performance of Little Angel’s new production of “The Fabulous Flutterbys” and meet the puppets.  Spend the following 7 weeks on 'crafty' activities, songs and games linked to the show including some simple puppet making.  Children leave each session with something they have made.   
8 May – 3 July (no class 5 June half term)

Saturday mornings 9.45am - 11.00am or 11.30am - 12.45pm

£90 per carer/child pair / £65 concession (inc seeing the show)

 
SATUDAY PUPPET CLUB

Age 5-10 yrs

This term will be a bit different to our normal SPC!  As well as seeing our production of “The Fabulous Flutterbys”, participants will be working over 10 weeks to create costume and large scale puppets that will be paraded at the end of term at Little Angel Theatre’s “Angel Bug Ball” summer party.  SPC is split into to 2 age groups - 5 to 7s and 8 to 10s.

1 May - 10 July (no class 5 June half term)

Saturday mornings 9.45 - 11.00 am or 11.30 am - 12.45 pm (8-10s only)
£80 per person / £55 concessions (inc seeing the show)

 
PUPPET ACADEMY

Age 11-16 yrs

Develop puppetry performance and making techniques.  This term participants create a bespoke piece of puppet theatre specifically for public performance at Little Angel’s Summer Party.  Academy members learn the skills needed to take the first steps in the world of puppet making and performance as used in theatre, film and T.V.
