London Horror Festival Arrives, with THE WICKER HAMPER at The Old Red Lion Theatre
By: Liz Cearns
Set on the fictional Winterisle in the 1970s, The Wicker Hamper is Stack 10 Theatre's entry in this year's London Horror Festival. A loving homage to classic horror films like Psycho and The Wicker Man. 5 actors and the voices of the theatre itself create a production which conjures up the spirit of the classics of horror cinema.
Marcie, the perfect sacrifice, checked into the Bates Hotel & Golf Club, Winterisle's best (and only) holiday destination. When the hotelier disappears Marcie is forced to investigate with a police officer from the mainland, not knowing that each step brings them closer and closer to The Wicker Hamper! "I'll be right back" is sure to get you killedIf you say those words your blood will soon be spilled
By chainsaw, axe or massive baseball bat
You won't survive if you say "I'll be right back"
