LOST Theatre Presents MILE HIGH - THE MUSICAL, Now thru March 24

A glimpse of Mediterranean summer sunshine is arriving at The Lost Theatre, Vauxhall this March in the shape of Mile High - the musical. Written by Mike Hume and Terry Newman, the show will be directed by Phil Wilmott with choreography by Thomas Michael Voss and with assistant director Nathan Taylor (Naked Boys Singing), musical director Lee Freeman and musical supervisor Angharad Sanders.

So, if the winter blues are getting you down, but the budget doesn't run to two weeks in the Caribbean, why not join Flight Attendant Richenda 'Richi' Spierings and fellow 'trolley-dolly' Taylor of the cut-price Island Royal Airlines for a re-energising dose of comedy and top tunes?

Get on board for an emotional journey with Richi as she attempts to "supersede the limitations that stereotyping has put on the roles of women in the aviation industry", while wondering whether her Jimmy Choos's have been re-heeled! Yes, it's not all glamour in modern aviation - well, actually it's practically glamour free!

However, will Richi succeed in her desire to become a pilot despite the odds, or will she be distracted by the undoubted charms of Fantasy Airways suave Captain Fantastico? And will her trolley-dolly colleague Taylor succeed in getting a date with Fantasy's Super-trolley dolly Clinton - all part of their bet to see who becomes Mediterranean Small Airline of the Year? And just maybe true love is a fellow passenger.

Yes, it's all the thrills of international travel, plus a window on the travails of package holidays and a liberal dose of gender politics! We can't promise you an automatic upgrade or a ridiculously small packet of peanuts, but we can promise you a flight to remember and a full complement of satire and songs - in less time than it takes to fly to Corfu.
