By:

Sheffield Theatres, in partnership with co-producers Evolution Pantomimes, bring their GIANT family pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, to the Lyceum Theatre from Friday 6 December 2013 to Sunday 5 January 2014, sponsored by Our Cow Molly.

Written and directed by Paul Hendy, and produced by the same team who brought last year's Cinderella to the stage, Jack and The Beanstalk will end the autumn season in the Lyceum Theatre in spectacular style.

Sheffield panto favourite, the hilarious DamIan Williams (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty) is back in a dress to play Dame Trott, alongside the brilliant Ian 'H' Watkins (Steps, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat) as Jack. Andrew Fettes (EastEnders, London's Burning), Sarah Earnshaw (Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked), Pete Dunwell (Doctor in The House, Coronation Street) and Madeleine Leslay (Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Tom Jones) complete the cast, alongside a fantastic ensemble company.

Packed full of stunning sets, comedy, audience participation and breathtaking special effects, Jack and the Beanstalk is a fun-filled extravaganza that promises to delight audiences of all ages this Christmas. Sponsored by Sheffield's own Our Cow Molly, a dairy farm based in Dungworth, Jack and The Beanstalk will feature an extra special scene mentioning the local business and the company will be providing Sheffield Theatres with a specially made panto ice cream that audiences will be able to buy at the theatre during the production's run.
