Iris Theatre Presents ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Now thru Aug 31
Iris Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (adapted for the stage by Daniel Winder), directed by Andrew Lynford.
Following on from Julius Caesar, Iris Theatre will continue its summer season at St Paul's Church in the heart of Covent Garden, with a new stage version of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, which runs from tonight 30 July to Saturday 31 August. Press night is Friday August 2 at 7pm.
Moving through the magical rose-filled gardens of this historic 17th century English church, this open-air production will take you down the rabbit hole and deep into the heart of Alice's imaginary childhood world.
This new production will take the audience down a long dark rabbit hole from which they will emerge into magical rose-filled gardens of St Paul's, the setting for Alice's imaginary childhood world. People will be invited to run a caucus race, play croquet with the Queen, have tea with the Hatter and dance a Lobster Quadrille.
Cast includes: David Baynes, Nick Howard-Brown, Simon Kent, Matt Wilman and Laura Wickham as Alice.
This is a thrilling London summer theatre experience not to be missed. Alice in Wonderland is following Shakespeare's vivid political thriller Julius Caesar running between 26 June and 26 July.
Iris Theatre is a dynamic young company resident at the world famous Actors Church in Covent Garden. Iris Theatre was created in 2007 to produce a production of T.S.
