Following a sell-out, smash hit season at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, Charles Court Opera, described as "a spunky little troupe with high impact delivery" by Opera Now, transfer their brilliantly fast and witty production to the King's Head Theatre, as part of the venue's first season as London's Little Opera House.

It will run from Wednesday November 17 - Wednesday December 8.

Press night is?Friday November 19 at 7.15pm.

With a cast of 9 young singers and accompanied by Wigmore Hall artists the Eaton-Young Piano Duo ("A virtuoso
performance" The Times), this fresh realisation presents comic opera at its very best.

Batten down the hatches for an exquisite satire on class and naval incompetence...

"Gilbert and Sullivan virgins and lifelong Savoy Opera devotees alike should enjoy
this breezy, extremely well-sung staging... There's character and technical virtuosity
in the vocal performances... fine comic
detail..."
