Gecko to Make Exeter Northcott Theatre Debut with THE WEDDING
By: BWW News Desk
Critically-acclaimed physical theatre company, Gecko, will make its Exeter Northcott Theatre debut this month, running Thu 21 - Sat 23 September 2017.
Combining movement, imagery and a provocative narrative, The Wedding is an emotionally charged, spectacular performance inspired by the complexity of human nature.
In a blur of wedding dresses and contractual obligations, Gecko's extraordinary ensemble guides us through the struggle between love and anger, creation and destruction, community and isolation.
We want to believe in our journey but where are we heading?
Is it too late to stop, to go back, to fall in love, to start again?
Gecko is an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed physical theatre company, led by Artistic Director Amit Lahav. A Gecko show is visual, visceral, ambitious theatre crafted to inspire, move and entertain. Gecko strives to make their work wide open to interpretation and put their audience at the heart of the narrative. For more information on Gecko, visit geckotheatre.com/about.
