Broadway leading man Gavin Creel, who is currently reprising his Broadway role of Claude in the West End's production of HAIR, will appear on May 4 at the London club Ronnie Scott's.

Creel will perform a concert with original acoustic pop, songs from his debut album "GOODTIMENATION," new songs, and covers. Joining him will be co-writer Robbie Roth and HAIR cast mate Steel Burkhardt. The performance will begin at 11:30 PM.

Creel has played the West End Stage before, appearing in the role of Bert in the original production of MARY POPPINS at the Prince Edward Theatre. He is a two-time Tony nominee for Best Actor in a Musical for his performances in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE in 2002 and HAIR in 2009. His other Broadway and Off-Broadway appearances include the 2004 revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, Stephen Sondheim's BOUNCE, and HONK! He has performed concerts at New York's Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space as well as The Public Theatre's Joe's Pub.

HAIR opened at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End on April 13.

A celebration of life, love and freedom, and a passionate cry for hope and change, HAIR features some of the greatest songs ever written for the stage, including ‘Let The Sun Shine In', ‘I Got Life', ‘Hair' and ‘Aquarius'.

Featuring most of the original Broadway cast, HAIR is choreographed by Karole Armitage, directed by Diane Paulus, and features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. The creative team also includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Michael McDonald (costume design), Kevin Adams (lighting design) and ACME Sound Partners (sound design).

Tickets for HAIR in London (starting at £17.00) are now on sale via www.hairthemusical.co.uk.
