The Wizard of Oz is the well-known tale of Dorothy and her faithful dog, Toto as they flee from the clutches of the evil Miss Gulch only to find themselves lost in a strange and wonderful new world. There they meet a Scarecrow in need of a brain, a Tin Man wanting a heart and a Lion lacking courage. Together they follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City in search of answers from the mysterious and all-powerful Wizard of Oz. One of the greatest hits of all time, this epic new staging of the legendary musical features favourites such as If I Only Had A Heart, Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead and not forgetting, the iconic, Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Director Liam Steel said:

"The Wizard of Oz is a story packed with memorable moments and marvellous music, but at its heart is a journey of self discovery. I can't wait to explore this in the rehearsal room with a great company of actors as we bring a fresh, authentic take, and a bit of sass, to this glorious musical."
