FANTASTIC MR. FOX, JABBERWOCKY, CINDERMOUSE and More Set for Little Angel Theatre's 2014-15 Season

Little Angel Theatre presents three fantastic productions for autumn/winter 2014/2015.

From 13 September to 9 November, the theatre welcomes back FANTASTIC MR. FOX, for age 4 and up. Based on the book by Roald Dahl and directed by Steve Tiplady, the show is designed by Peter O'Rourke and has music and lyrics by Ben Glasstone, whose recent production of THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS delighted audiences. The press showing is on Saturday 20 September at 2pm.

Mr. Fox has three nasty enemies -- Boggis, Bunce and Bean. These greedy farmers hate Mr. Fox so much they will stop at nothing to get rid of him, but clever Mr. Fox has a plan of his own.

The Christmas season 2014/2015 sees a staging of a brand new reworking of our production of JABBERWOCKY. First produced ten years ago, and inspired by Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem, this visually extraordinary production is being created for a new generation of children age 6 and over. It runs from 29 November 2014 to 1 February 2015 with its press showing on Sunday 7 December at 2pm. Cast and creative team to be announced shortly.

Sharing the stage for the Christmas season is CINDERMOUSE, a classic Little Angel Theatre favourite for age 3 and up. Directed by Ronnie le Drew and designed by Lyndie Wright, this show runs from 20 November 2014 to 1 Feb 2015 with its press showing on Saturday 22 November at 2 pm.

Travel to the land of mice where hardworking little Cindermouse finds love in the arms of a prince. Reminiscent of the Cinderella story, this show introduces its audience to a host of colourful glove and rod puppet characters - the outrageous sisters, the delicate fairy, acrobats who tumble and dancers who twirl to the musical accompaniment.

Alongside our in-house productions throughout the autumn and winter, Little Angel's hit production of WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT will be on tour throughout the UK.

All performances of FANTASTIC MR. FOX run at the Little Angel Theatre, 14 Dagmar Passage, London N1 2DN, Saturday 13th September - Sunday 9th November 2014. Performances Wednesday to Sunday weekly. Under 4s will only be admitted at Baby Friendly performances. Baby Friendly Performances are at 11am on Sundays, plus 11am Thursday of half term (30th Oct).
