DIVINELY BETTE Plays Camden Fringe, Now thru Aug 25
With all the hits you would expect (including Wind Beneath My Wings, Stuff Like That There, The Glory of Love and more!) as well as jokes and banter from the Divine Miss M herself, Divinely Bette will delight and titillate! Come celebrate the buxom comedienne's trademark ballads, raucous humour, and upbeat comedy songs Upstairs at the Gatehouse during this year's Camden Fringe before the show makes its North American debut later this summer.
This one woman show is performed by Kim Sheard, who from the age of 12 has been getting comments about reminding people of Bette. After years of hating the comparison, she finally clued in to the fact that being Bette would be amazing - and thus, Divinely Bette was born.
With Bette's own comedy and 12 classic songs, Divinely Bette is a unique blend of laughter and feeling. Ms Midler herself revels in irreverence and aggrandising self-mocking - so, so does the show!
Divinely Bette will be performed Upstairs at the Gatehouse (Highgate Village, N6 4BD). All shows will be £12/£10.
