Toronto Musical Concerts Hosts Staged Reading of COMPANY

On Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 7:30pm, Toronto Musical Concerts (TMC) presents a staged musical reading of Stephen Sondheim'sCOMPANY In Concert at Eastminster United Church (310 Danforth Avenue) to benefit The Canadian Safe School Network (https://canadiansafeschools.com).

Brilliantly energetic yet comically dark, Tony Award-winning Company centers around confirmed bachelor, Robert - who contemplates his unmarried state on the eve of his 35th birthday. Throughout this vignette-driven musical, "Bobby" interacts with his married friends and various girlfriends to try to reveal the true reason why he is not yet in a committed relationship. These vivid and real characters force the habitually single Robert to deeply question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions.

COMPANY In Concert features professional musical theatre talents: Kevin Achiele (Paul); AJ Bridel (Marta); Lawrence Cotton (Larry); Donna Garner(Joanne); Ryan Kelly (David); Lisa Kisch (Jenny); Lizzie Kurtz (Amy); David Lopez (Peter); Marisa McIntyre (April); Anwyn Musico (Susan); Leah Oster(Kathy); Sarah Strange (Sarah); Geoffrey Tyler (Bobby); Christopher Wilson (Harry); and is musically directed by Scott Christian (piano).

Tickets: $25 (General Admission), $20 (Students / Seniors / Arts Workers)
