Off to Broadway Presents 'Belt it Out! with Susan Dunstan' 6/26
Belt it Out! with Susan Dunstan
Sunday, June 26th, 2011, 3-5pm at The S.P.A.C.E.
With 20 years of experience on stage (Toronto's Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; The Lion King; Lord of the Rings, and more), Susan Dunstan is an expert on mastering a song. Susan will teach you how to make the best of your voice and give you tips for power, range and control. Plus, she knows how to belt it out and wants to teach you how to do it, too - but properly! Susan will also share examples from personal experiences and offer tips of the trade.
Susan has been working professionally on the stage for the last 20 years. Alongside of her theatre career, she's been running a full time voice studio teaching the craft to her peers and newcomers singers. Susan spent last year on the road with the US National Tour of The Lion King as well as being a part of the North American Premiere of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Past credits include: Lord Of the Rings, The Lion King (Shenzi), Annie Get Your Gun (Massey Hall), Ragtime (Livent), Perfect Life (Poor Alex), A Night On Broadway (Sudbury Theatre Centre), South Pacific (Bloody Mary/Orillia Opera House), Godspell & Into The Woods (Witch/ Da Capo), Somewhere In The World (Canada Girl) and The Princess and the Handmaiden (Handmaiden) both at the Charlottetown Festival, and many more.
