New Story Productions Presents LEMON LEMON

Lemon Lemon is a performative exploration of the experiences of being a young person of colour growing up in an all white city.

Where are you supposed to go when your too dark to be Aryan, and to brown to be white. What happens when your born and raised in Canada, but somehow get asked where you're from and seem to be accepted and belong nowhere?

Through song, music, dance, spoken word, a bucket of water and some lemons this piece explores what it means to learn to love yourself and the skin that your in. When will you finally be right, and accept yourself for not being white.
