MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL Announces Festival Line-Up, 9/12-9/14

The MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL is happy to announce new additions to the Main Stage line-up at Lion's Lookout including The Trews, Buck 65, Grand Analog, The Beaches, Dear Rouge, Sam Cash & The Romantic Dogs, and HIGHS. The MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL is a new, three-day, ticketed, outdoors, all-ages and licensed, live music festival in majestic Muskoka, taking place September 12 - 14, 2014. Road warriors The Trews have performed thousands of gigs over the past ten years, sharing the stage with The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Guns 'n' Roses and Bruce Springsteen. The Trews have five studio albums under their belt and 14 Top Ten singles in Canada, including two #1 hits. Buck 65, aka Rich Terfry, is a prolific hip-hop artist and radio host known for his genre-bending records and collaborations, will grace the MUSKOKA SOUND main stage in advance of his new album Neverlove, set for release September 30. Also performing at MUSKOKA SOUND this September are hip-hop collective Grand Analog, fem-rock quartet The Beaches, Vancouver synth-rock duo Dear Rouge, burgeoning roots-rockers Sam Cash & The Romantic Dogs, and up-and-coming pop group HIGHS. MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL will feature a world-class all-Canadian line-up of over 20 performances including Walk Off The Earth, Serena Ryder, Mother Mother, Monster Truck, Hawksley Workman, Shad, Yukon Blonde, The Strumbellas and Paper Lions. MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL will also include the HOMEGROWN STAGE, showcasing musicians from Muskoka, shining light on local talent with performances by Sean Cotton's Doghouse, Juan Barbosa, Myrle, Ol' Stampy's Saloon, Laganza, Mystic Naturals, Taktikz, Ruth Cassie, Deni Gauthier, James Gray, Gina Horswood, Douglas Maclean, Big East, Pam Millar Band and J'aime Payne. Created for musical tourists and nature enthusiasts, MUSKOKA SOUND MUSIC FESTIVAL is, a family-friendly festival set against the natural beauty of Muskoka, featuring a spectacular vista of Fall colours. The largest music event ever to hit the Muskoka region, MUSKOKA SOUND promises to deliver a truly unique experience for fans and musicians alike.
