thestar.com's Richard Ouzounian interviewed AndRea Martin, who is currently appearing in the Toronto production of Nora and Delia Ephron's LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE.  Martin discussed the play ("It's a beautiful piece. Quite moving and very funny at the same time. My favourite kind of theatre"), her sources of inspiration ("I wanted to be just like [Chita Rivera]"), and her work on the television show 'SCTV' ("We were all kind of mad then and it was wonderful").  Martin also described the way that she became involved in theatre and listed her "five fave comedic influences".  To read the full interview, click here

AndRea Martin won a Tony Award for her performance in MY FAVORITE YEAR on Broadway.  She was nominated for additional Tony Awards for CANDIDE, OKLAHOMA!, and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.  Her other Broadway credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and EXIT THE KING.  Other stage credits include her one-woman show NUDE, NUDE, TOTALLY NUDE!, which she will soon tour with in a new version entitled FINAL DAYS: EVERYTHING MUST GO!
