The Big Muddy Dance Company is a St. Louis based contemporary repertory dance company with an eclectic repertoire of contemporary ballet, jazz and Broadway styles of dance works.

Ballet Fantastique was established in 2000, became an Oregon nonprofit in 2003, and earned 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2004. Annually, BFan produces or participates in dozens of concerts and events and collaborates with more than 40 individuals, organizations, and arts groups. Performances and events reach more than 10,000 audience members annually.

Alameda Civic Ballet was founded in February 2003 and achieved non-profit 501(c)(3) status as a charitable organization in November of 2004. The goal of the company is to create and present quality community accessible ballet performances, while providing young dancers with valuable experience performing alongside professional dancers.

Florida Dance Theatre, Polk County's only professional dance company and training academy, is celebrating its 18th anniversary. Formerly known as Lakeland Ballet, Florida Dance Theatre was founded in 1993 by artistic director, Carol Krajacic Erkes. It was originally intended only as a training school, but Ms. Erkes was impressed by the talent available in the Polk County region; and while recognizing a lack of dance programming in the area, she formed Polk County's first, and to this date, only professional dance company.

DeMa Dance Company seamlessly fuses ballet, jazz, and modern dance to create tableaus addressing universal themes of humanity. Incorporating narrative and geometric non-narrative choreography, their versatile repertory focuses upon strength, boldness, and fearlessness of the individual, and the individual's power to affect the world around them.

Utah's Repertory Dance Theatre was founded in 1966 as a fully-professional modern dance company through a cooperative effort involving the Salt Lake City community, the University of Utah and a major grant from the Rockefeller Foundation. This partnership was created to establish a company which would keep alive that unique, artistic achievement which is American Modern Dance.

Now in its 40th season, Garth Fagan Dance is "unfailingly original" deemed the The New York Times, which also named the Company's piece, Mudan 175/39, third of the top six dance watching moments of 2009. Under the artistic direction of Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza, Attack Theatre has been making personal, accessible and collaborative dance-based performances with 'ninja-like intensity' (Pittsburgh Tribune Review) for 17 years.

The Mark Morris Dance Group was formed in 1980 and gave its first concert that year in New York City. The company's touring schedule steadily expanded to include cities both in the U.S. and in Europe, and in 1986 it made its first national television program for the PBS series Dance in America. In 1988, MMDG was invited to become the national dance company of Belgium, and spent three years in residence at the Theatre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels. The company returned to the United States in 1991 as one of the world's leading dance companies, performing across the U.S. and at major international festivals.
