WONDERLAND Runs 8-11 April at Seymour Centre
Lexx Productions is briniging Wonderland to the Reginald Theatre, Seymour Centre from Tuesday April 8 to Saturday April 12, following its hit Canberra premier season.
Alexandra Howard will play Lucy opposite Samuel Doyle as Max, playing two young lovers who battle to defend their own actions during the war of a relationship. As they journey through the chapters of their story, they begin to wonder if the ideals they held so closely are nothing more than a fairytale.
It is a realistic story set in a fantastical setting, with sculptures created by international artist Andrew Grenfell. These sculptures embody the monsters inside the characters as they begin to question if all fairytales can end in happily ever after? The production will address psychology and theatre. When do we stop being the hero in our relationship and start becoming the villain? Why are so many relationship ending up in divorce? Can women have it all?
