In response to a near sell-out season and incredible audience demand, Jetpack Theatre Collective are thrilled to announce additional shows have now been added to the remaining 6 weeks of the Art Heist season! There will be 4 additional show-times on Wednesdays throughout July.

One of Sydney's most prolific and daring theatre companies, Jetpack Theatre Collective, with multi-award winning director Jim Fishwick at the helm, are set to offer audiences yet another totally immersive, outside-the-box theatrical experience! Art Heist gives audiences the chance to literally steal priceless art right off the gallery walls!

The Fat Dragon, has recently been put on display at the ultra-modern Wade Gallery, and a mysterious benefactor by the name of Adrian Bailey has his eye on it! Bailey will engage the city's craftiest thieves for the job. The thieves must sneak into the gallery and take the painting without alerting any of the guards. But how will they do it when they have just 45 minutes up their sleeve and numerous obstacles in their way?

Art Heist is the latest immersive theatrical event from Jetpack Theatre Collective, who have created and produced more than 20 shows in just over 2 years. Art Heist invites audience members to live out an illicit and thrilling fantasy by devising and carrying the most audacious theft the art world has ever seen! Staged in the fictional, purpose-built Wade Gallery in Sydney's Dulwich Hill, Art Heist gives the audience 45 minutes to get in, get the art and get out! All the while, they'll be distracting and dodging guards, avoiding cameras, alarms and lasers, looking for clues and even crawling through air-vents to make sure the crew do not get caught with the loot! What really sets Art Heist apart from other Escape Room-style entertainment is that it encompasses the work of live performers who will act as the gallery's watchful guards, whose job it is to keep the gallery and her contents safe and secure. These actors make the experience a much more immersive and theatrical one as they improvise in reaction to and build upon the creativity of the audience to stay in character and protect the gallery.

In true Jetpack style, Art Heist blends interactive theatre and live-action gaming into a fun, pulse-quickening Ocean's 11-inspired adventure where the audience is right at the centre of the action! Art Heist marks a significant and refreshing change to the usual theatre landscape in Sydney.
