Final Kent Town Performance for 2013 Concert Series: Tenor Tasso Bouyessis & Organist Peter Kelsall, 11/20

The final concert in the popular community series for 2013 takes place at 2pm on Wednesday 20 November in the historic Wesley Church Kent Town. Tickets are $8 and include afternoon tea.
Appearing in this final concert is one of Concerts at Kent Town's favourite performers Tasso Bouyessis, tenor, accompanied by Macarena Zambrana on piano. Tasso's program will include works by Haydn, Beethoven, Lloyd Webber and Stephen Adams Tasso Bouyessis is Director of Voice and Choirs at Prince Alfred College. He is equally at home on both opera stage and concert platform and is highly regarded and respected for his versatility and experience in opera, oratorio and lieder. Tasso has received awards in The Herald Sun Aria, The Sydney Performing Arts Challenge and is a winner of The State Opera of South Australia Aria Award.Tasso's operatic roles include Alfredo, ( La Traviata ) Ismael, ( Nabucco) for Opera Wanganui, New Zealand, Rodolfo, (La Boheme) Pinkerton, (Madama Butterfly) Tamino, (The Magic Flute) Don Jose', (Carmen) Co-Opera, as well as numerous minor principal roles with The State Opera of South Australia.
