Ahead of the 2013 program launch on 6 April, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival is excited to unveil another superb performer - acclaimed tenor Daniel Koek returns home to South Australia to present his show A Decade Down The Road in the Dunstan Playhouse on 21 and 22 June.

Fresh from Opera Australia's production of South Pacific, Daniel Koek returns to his roots to perform a captivating evening of songs and stories from the past decade of his life, along with an 8-piece band direct from London. Daniel's show combines classic musical theatre, opera and popular songs interspersed with charming and funny anecdotes that encapsulate the life of a musical theatre performer.

Born in Gawler, Daniel studied at the Conservatorium of Music at Adelaide University. He then moved to London and was awarded a place on the Musical Theatre postgraduate course at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Daniel has performed roles in countless musicals in Australia, the UK and Europe including West Side Story, Chess, Phantom of the Opera and Saturday Night Fever, My Fair Lady and The Mikado. He has performed sell-out solo concerts across the UK, released a solo album with another on the way, and has been a featured artist on West End legend Elaine Paige's BBC radio programme Elaine Paige on Sunday.

Don't miss Daniel as he takes you through a decade of his life, and discover why he is considered one of Australia and the UK's leading men.
