ACO To Stream GOLDBERG VARIATIONS Live From The Sydney Opera House

The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) and the Sydney Opera House have announced that the ACO's upcoming Goldberg Variations concert will be broadcast live via Facebook from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall this coming Sunday 12 August, 2pm AEST.

Audiences across Australia will be able to experience the ACO perform one of the greatest pieces of music ever written, JS Bach's Goldberg Variations, in an illuminating string arrangement by Canadian conductor Bernard Labadie, as the full concert is streamed live via the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Opera House Facebook pages.

Joining the Goldberg Variations on the program is a string arrangement of Stravinsky's Three Pieces for String Quartet, Thomas Adès' Nightfalls from The Four Quarters and Bach's Canons on a Goldberg Ground, presented in one of Richard Tognetti's signature arrangements.
