Theater St. Gallen Presents NA, UND? Musical-Gala, 24 Januar

Wegen der aktuell geltenden Einschränkungen im Kulturbetrieb können wir das für Dezember geplante Musical "The Sound of Music" von Richard Rodgers und Oscar Hammerstein II leider nicht realisieren.

Das Stück erzählt die Geschichte der Trapp-Familie und ihrer Liebe zur Musik und hätte wesentlich von Szenen mit einem eigens gecasteten Kinderchor sowie Auftritten des Damenchors des Theaters gelebt. Weil Chöre gemäss den Corona-Bestimmungen des Bundesrates bis auf weiteres nicht auftreten dürfen, muss die Produktion schweren Herzens abgesagt werden. Eine Adaption ohne Chöre hätte dem Musical das Fundament entzogen.
