Upstream Theater Presents COOKING WITH ELISA, Closes 1/23

"Strange things indeed emerge from this kitchen in the Argentine countryside..."

Upstream Theater presents the US premiere of Cooking with Elisa by Argentine playwright Lucía Laragione, in an English version by Philip Boehm, directed by Bonnie Taylor. The production will close on January 23. 

The play, which has won prestigious awards in Spain as well as Argentina, features Jane Paradise* and Shanara Gabrielle.*  (*indicates member, Actors' Equity Association).

Set by Scott C. Neale, lighting by Ann Wrightson, costumes by Michele Siler, and props by Kim Wilson. (member, United Scenic Artists Local 829)

Performances: Jan. 7-9, 13-16, 20-23.

Times: 8 PM Thurs-Sat, 7 PM Jan 9 & 16, 3 PM Jan 23.

Venue: Kranzberg Arts Center (501 N. Grand at Olive)

Tickets: $25, $20 for seniors 65 and over, and $15 for full-time students with valid ID. Group rates available.
