The Muny Announces Auditions for Adult Singing and Dancing Chorus 3/12-13
Auditions for The Muny's 2011 Adult Singing and Dancing Chorus will be Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13. They will be held at the Performing Arts Center at St. Louis University High School, 4970 Oakland Avenue, between Kingshighway and Macklind. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to call time. No appointments are necessary. All persons auditioning should bring a photograph, which will NOT be returned. Please make certain that your name is on the back of the photograph.

NOTE: All singers must be 18 years of age or older. Singers should bring sheet music–16 bars
of standard musical theatre repertoire, preferably from the "Great American Songbook." Please bring music in the key you desire. An accompanist will be provided. No a capella singing or recorded accompaniment. For callbacks, please bring dance shoes (jazz or character preferred).

NOTE: All dancers must be 17 years of age or older. Dancers should bring tap and jazz shoes,
toe and ballet slippers, and any necessary rehearsal clothing. Dressing areas will be
provided. A combination will be taught and rehearsed at auditions. You should also
bring sheet music in the desired key–16 bars of standard musical theatre repertoire,
in case you are asked to sing.
Please note that a policy of non-traditional casting (the casting of ethnic minorities or female actors in roles where race, ethnicity or sex is not germane) will be observed.
