TLT Productions Begins Second Season with BEYOND THE RIVER
TLT Productions, a production troupe, specializing in original content will launch it's second year of events with an original production, Beyond the River.
TLT Productions is the creation of the artistic collaboration between musical artist, Tre'von Griffith, known as TreG and playwright, Lauron Thompson-Cosby. Over the past year , TLT has produced 8 original shows including theater and concerts that fostered new opportunities for more than 25 young artists under the age of 30.
"We are so excited about this amazing opportunity to share our work with community on a consistent basis . We have an exciting, bold year of entertainment planned.", states Cosby .
"We will continue to reach our goal of becoming a catalyst for original entertainment highlighting theater and music from young artists in St. Louis. This year's line-up is cool, fresh and has something for everyone including the entire family," TreG said.
This year's line up will include all original productions including a few fan-favorites. Beyond the River (Jan 13-16), Something Like... Godspell (March 29-April 1), VOICES: Sounds of America (Sep 7-9), The Rink: Saints the Musical (Nov 30-Dec 2). Other special showcases like #blackboyjoy and weekly-series, Friday Night Live will also return.
Beyond the River, written by founders Lauron Thompson-Cosby and TreG is a story that takes us deep inside the dreams of a young girl. Maya is greeted in her dreams by a young man named D.C.- together they venture into the future. Maya learns valuable lessons from all the amazing people and events she sees on her journey. This inspiring story leaves us to question ourselves...are we moving forward?
Beyond the River will premiere February 2-4, 2018 at the Marcelle Theater in Grand Center. Show times are at 8pm, February 2-3 and 3pm, February 3-4. Tickets are $15 and are now available at MetroTix outlets, metrotix.com, 314-534-1111.
