Wow. Another semester has come and gone, and nearly another year (which I'll talk about in a few days).

First semester of junior year at MBU was probably the most notable of any semester so far of college.

For one, my best friend, the one on the right in the picture, started working at the university and will be starting school there in a couple weeks.

It's probably the main reason I got involved in university activities. Before, while I had friends there, they weren't super close and they often didn't show up to those events, and Melissa, being the social person she is, jumped right into the action while I've been off to the side, observing everything.

I also started as the photographer for the choir department, and have already an entire folder on my phone dedicated to photos I took for our director and Fine Arts chair, Dr. Jordan Cox.

I also started writing for our university news site, Timeline, and I have an article up on there, and it's been there for a couple weeks.

All in all, if you don't start out school too strong, give it some time. You could peak a little later, and that's perfectly okay.
