The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis concludes its 2015-2016 Studio Theatre series with Molly's Hammer by Tammy Ryan, based on the book Hammer of Justice by Liane Ellison Norman and directed by Seth Gordon.

This world premiere production runs March 9-27 in the Emerson Studio Theatre of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts. Molly's Hammer was developed during The Rep's Ignite! New Play Festival in 2015.

Curtain times are Tuesdays at 7 pm; Wednesdays-Fridays at 8 pm; Saturday matinees at 4 pm; selected Saturday nights at 8 pm; Sunday matinees at 2 pm; and Sunday evenings at 7 pm.

Molly Rush was focused on the endgame- save the world, protect her family. But what would she have to sacrifice? In 1980, the Pittsburgh housewife and mother of six walked into a General Electric plant and took a hammer to a nuclear warhead to protest the buildup of America's nuclear arsenal. Based on the true story of the Plowshares Eight, Molly's Hammer is the account of one woman's unwavering beliefs and her family's desperate attempts to protect her from infamy.

The real Molly Rush is expected to attend the show's opening night.

Nancy Bell (Soups, Stews and Casseroles: 1976) returns for her fifth Rep production as Molly. Joe Osheroff, making his Rep debut, plays her husband Bill. Kevin Orton (Saint Joan) plays Father Daniel Berrigan and a variety of supporting characters.

Led by Gordon, The Rep's Associate Artistic Director, the production team includes Gianni Downs (scenic designer), Mark Wilson (lighting designer), Lou Bird (costume designer), Amanda Werre (sound designer) and Shannon B. Sturgis (stage manager).

Tickets are $42 (previews), $50 (weeknights and Sundays) and $65 (Fridays and Saturdays). They are available at The Rep Box Office, located inside the Loretto-Hilton Center, by phone at (314) 968-4925 and online at http://www.repstl.org.

The Loretto-Hilton Center is located at 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University).

Ann & Hugh Scott are The Rep's Studio Season Sponsors for 2015-2016.
