Fabulous Fox Theatre to Host Open House & Season Preview Event, 5/31

The public is invited to an Open House and Preview Event showcasing the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2015-2016 U.S. Bank Broadway Series on Sunday, May 31 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fox Theatre, 527 N. Grand Blvd. Visitors will be treated to live previews of MATILDA THE MUSICAL and BEAUTIFUL-THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL along with video previews from the other season shows.

U.S. Bank Broadway Series six-show season ticket packages will be available for purchase when the event opens at noon. The Fox subscription services staff will be available to answer questions and show patrons available seat locations to "try out" during the event.

The 2015-2016 season ticket package includes Time Magazine's #1 Show of the Year MATILDA THE MUSICAL; Disney's high-energy new musical NEWSIES; the inspirational BEAUTIFUL-The Carole King Musical; the contemporary smash IF/THEN; the romantic story of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY and the new production of the beloved classic, THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Live performance selections from BEAUTIFUL-THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL will take place on the Fox stage at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Performance selections from MATILDA THE MUSICAL will take place at 1:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on the Fox stage. Video previews for other season shows and specials will be shown throughout the event.

Free popcorn, soda and cookies will be provided and Fox Tour Guides will be on hand for Q&A about the Fabulous Fox. Free parking will be available during the event on the theatre lots on the north side of Washington Ave. The Fox Theatre box office, at 531 N. BEAUTIFUL - The Carole King Musical | February 23 - March 6, 2016

BEAUTIFUL - The Carole King Musical tells the inspiring true story of King's remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.

BEAUTIFUL features a stunning array of beloved songs written by Goffin/King and Mann/Weil, including "I Feel the Earth Move," "One Fine Day," "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," "You've Got a Friend" and the title song. Eight specials for the 2015-2016 Season will be offered to subscribers for priority seating before their public on-sale dates. The ultimate feel-good show, MAMMA MIA!, returns to the Fox November 6-8. For the holidays, the Fox welcomes back IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS November 17-22 and CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE December 4-6. Back by popular demand, WICKED returns December 9, 2015 - January 3, 2016. Dance St. Louis will present RIVERDANCE- The 20th Anniversary World Tour February 12-14.
