Rehearsals began this week for the new West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who will start their performances at the Palace Theatre in London's West End on 24 May 2017 following the final performance from the current cast on 21 May 2017.

Running through September 21 at Sierra Repertory Theatre's East Sonora stage, the drama's themes - corruption, materialism, getting ahead at the expense of others - are still relevant, said Scott Viets, artistic director at Sierra Repertory Theatre. Film and stage legend and two-time Tony Award winner Lauren Bacall, passed away last week (first reported by TMZ) at the age of 89. Williamstown Theatre Festival honored Award-winning director and frequent WTF collaborator Scott Ellis, at last night's benefit at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The evening was hosted by Julie White, who won a Tony Award for her performance in the Ellis-helmed production of The Little Dog Laughed, and included appearances by Tony Award-winners Chita Rivera, Susan Stroman, Rupert Holmes and more. Broadway's new musical comedy, Lysistrata Jones, will begin preview performances this Saturday, November 12 at 8:00pm at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street). Written by Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Flinn and directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Dan Knechtges, Lysistrata Jones will officially open on December 14, 2011.

'Loot' will run from 11 December ? 31 January. Designs are by Anthony Lamble with lighting by Charles Balfour and sound by Greg Clarke. 'Loot' will tour to Newcastle Theatre Royal from 2-7 February after its opening at the Tricycle.
