Continuing its 12-year relationship with Athol Fugard, The Fountain Theatre celebrates the master playwright's 80th birthday with the U.S. premiere of his newest play. Directed by Stephen Sachs and starring Morlan Higgins, Julanne Chidi Hill and Jacqueline Schultz, The Blue Iris opens at the Fountain tonight, August 24. Stylists from Bumble and bumble gave free haircuts to Tribe members of HAIR, including Diana DeGarmo, and HAIR fans today in an effort to collect hair clippings to be used to create highly absorbent hair booms to help contain the oil crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.
