Get swept away by an all-star cast in Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's lush production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, which runs August 5 through 9 at the Civic Center Music Hall. The show, which features the popular song 'Send in the Clowns', stars Broadway's own Dee Hoty and George Dvorsky. Called 'heady, civilized, sophisticated and enchanting' by the New York Times, Lyric's production is directed by artistic director Michael Baron and includes an original scenic design, new costumes, and a full orchestra. Directed by "the king of comedy" himself, Jerry Lewis, upon whose classic 1963 film comedy the brand new musical is based upon, The Nutty Professor company has already delivered a week of preview performances, garnering rave reviews from audience members. In his incomparable style, Meredith Willson, the author of The Music Man and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, tells the classic story of a white-bearded gentleman, claiming to be the real-deal Santa Claus, as he produces a genuine holiday miracle in It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. The musical adaptation of the popular holiday favorite 'Miracle on 34th Street' will bring holiday cheer to Theatre at the Center's 20th Anniversary, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana, November 11 through December 19, with the press performance on Sunday, November 14 at 7 p.m. The production will be directed by William Pullinsi.
