The hit musical Waitress opened on November 9, 2018, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City, Manila, Philippines. Based on the beloved film by Adrienne Shelly, Waitress features music and lyrics from six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles ('Love Song,' 'Brave') and book by Jessie Nelson. Waitress tells the story of a pie maker named Jenna who, despite the mundanity of her life, finds comfort and reckoning in the simple magic of baking. With the help of her two friends, Dawn and Becky, she dreams of a way out of her loveless marriage and musters the courage to change her life for the better. (more...)

Following the recent release of the Original Cast Recording of Brunger & Cleary's new musical PRODIGY, Auburn Jam Records and the National Youth Music Theatre have just released a music video of the behind-the-scenes recording of 'Say It In Song,' the finale of the show, to celebrate its chart success. The cast of TAMAR OF THE RIVER, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk Award-nominated show produced at Prospect Theater Company, will celebrate the release of their world premiere recording with a one night only reunion concert on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 8pm at Musical Theater Factory (250 West 40th Street, 4th Floor). Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Seeds of Peace. Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers. (more...)
