Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!

Previews begin tonight, February 26, for the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.  Sweeney Todd will officially open on March 26, 2023, at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Meet the cast of Sweeney Todd here!

The full cast has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, starring Tony and Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George).

The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, will present an Oral History Project event with six-time Emmy and Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh on Monday, May 6 starting at 6pm in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). Admission to the event is FREE and seats are available on a first-come-first-seated basis. Doors will open at 5:30pm.

It was an evening of hilarity last night at Feinstein's/54 Below as the original cast of Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh! celebrated it's 25th Anniversary.

With the end of school upon us, Aurora Theatre reminds parents that it is not too late to enroll in our second year of summer programs. We will offer camps and intensives for students from rising 1st - 12th Grades. Aurora Theatre Director of Education, Susan Reid has put together an unprecedented team of teaching professionals, including a voice instructor with Broadway experience

At 8 pm on Wednesday, May 9th and Thursday, May 10th, the New York Festival of Song will perform We Open in Paris. Paris is the backdrop for four musical theatre works in vest-pocket NYFOS productions, including Jacques Offenbach's La Vie Parisienne and Cole Porter's Fifty Million Frenchmen.
