On June 9th in Los Angeles, Profiles in History will auction off 50 rare Disney theme park cast member attraction costumes. It is the largestcollection to ever be offered at auction. Highlights include, a five piece Haunted Mansion gothic style costume, pictured left, and a four piece, Haunted Mansion, gothic style maid costume, each is estimated to sell for $900 - $1,500. Costumes from almost every Disney attraction are included like, Pirates of the Caribbean, Hall of Presidents, Tomorrowland, Animal Kingdom and they are each estimated to sell in the range of $100 - $800.

In addition to its New York appearance this spring and its regular concert series in Boston, Christophers and the Handel and Haydn Society also return this summer to Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in the Berkshires, for the first time since 1991. Christophers leads Purcell's The Fairy Queen with 21 players, 18 choristers, two soloists, and a narrator, on Wednesday, August 9 at 8 p.m. at Ozawa Hall on the Tanglewood campus.
