Winner of the 2006 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award and Will Glickman Award, Hunter Gatherers was included in every Bay Area media's list of best plays for 2006. 'Little Shop of Horrors' will begin April 1st and run through May 9th, 2010. This zany comedy stars Broadway veteran Naz Edwards ('Souvenir'), Jason Richards ('The Fantasticks'), Aaron Moore ('The Fantasticks'), BJ Love ('Christmas Carol'd') and Courtney Myers. It is directed by Performance Network Executive Director, Carla Milarch ('The Fantasticks,' 'The Baker's Wife'), with musical direction by R. MacKenzie Lewis.

Rehearsals begin today, Monday, April 5 for the World Premiere production of PARADISE FOUND, a new musical under the combined direction of Theater legend and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince (the original productions of Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Company, Follies, Evita) and 5-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy For You, Show Boat, The Producers, Contact). This is their first collaboration since the landmark, Tony Award-winning revival of Show Boat. Following the New York rehearsal period, the production will open at London's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory with performances running May 19 through June 26.

terraNOVA Collective presents a monthly variety show celebrating music, spoken word, burlesque, magic, storytelling, short play readings, and vaudeville acts. The eighth annual final of the Principality Building Society Welsh Young Musical Theatre Singer Of The Year contest was held at the Swansea Grand Theatre on Saturday February 20. The closely fought contest was adjudicated by an panel of judges consisting of eminent director and drama teacher Ken Caswell, vocal coach Tim Richards, Tim Rhys Evans (musical director of the internationally acclaimed male choir, Only Men Aloud, winners of BBC's Last Choir Standing) and Claire Hammacott (whose West End credits include Les Miserables and Christine in Phantom Of The Opera).

Tony Award nominated actress (for Mamma Mia) Louise Pitre has been cast to play Rose in the concert production of Gypsy at the Talk Is Free Theater in Barrie, Ontario. The new season at TIFT will begin on October 22 with the premiere of A Tale of How Ivan Ivanovich and Ivan Nikiforovich Had a Fight, followed by the concert production of Gypsy from November 25 and 26th. Next up is Assassins at the Downtown Theater Jan 21-30.
