Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of Matthew Lopez's The Whipping Man. The Civil War drama is directed by Giovanna Sardelli and will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre May 8 - June 13.

Rehearsals begin today, Monday, April 5 for the World Premiere production of PARADISE FOUND, a new musical under the combined direction of Theater legend and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince (the original productions of Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Company, Follies, Evita) and 5-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy For You, Show Boat, The Producers, Contact). Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that due to unforeseen conflicts with Roger Rees' schedule, The Old Globe's upcoming production of What You Will has been replaced with Golda's Balcony starring four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh. Written by William Gibson and supervised by Scott Schwartz, Golda's Balcony earned Feldshuh a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress, and is the longest running one-woman show in Broadway history. Golda's Balcony will run in the Old Globe Theatre April 28 - May 30.
