Up in Central Park is a Broadway musical with a book by Herbert Fields and Dorothy Fields, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and music by Sigmund Romberg.

Based on the Jan De Hartog play, The Fourposter, the story spans fifty years, from 1895 to 1945, as it focuses on the trials and tribulations, laughters and sorrows, and hopes and disappointments experienced by Agnes and Michael Snow throughout their marriage. I DO! I DO! is a remarkably intimate, romantic piece. We are invited into the bedroom of newlyweds Michael & Agnes who anticipate a wonderful blissful life…'Together Forever' as one of the early musical selections would have us believe. As we all know, reality sets in as the young couple struggle to maintain their happiness, passion, devotion and yes even a sense of humor, through all the joys, pains, trials and tribulations that they share in their 50 years of marriage.

Fountain Hills Community Theater is proud to present Carousel, the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that reigned on Broadway from 1945 through 1947 and was voted 'the greatest musical of the twentieth century' by TIME magazine. Carousel, bursting with joy and exuberance, has become one of America's most beloved musical masterpieces and this FHCT production will move and delight audiences of all ages. The touching tale is set in a small Maine fishing village and focuses on Billy Bigelow, a rough and temperamental carnival barker and Julie Jordan, his mill worker bride. This moving, comic and ultimately redeeming musical follows the course of their romance - even beyond the bonds of life. The score of Carousel includes some of Broadway's most memorable melodies - 'If I Loved You,' 'June is Bustin' Out All Over,' 'When the Children are Asleep,' and the classic 'You'll Never Walk Alone.'

ADDAMS FAMILY cast members Carolee Carmello, Jackie Hoffman, Zachary James, Wesley Taylor, Adam Riegler and Krysta Rodriguez, in addition to ADDAMS FAMILY composer Andrew Lippa celebrated the release of THE ADDAMS FAMILY cast album with a performance and autograph signing at Barnes and Noble in Lincoln Square last week. The University of Miami's Department of Theatre Arts presents its 2010-2011 Season which kicks off on September 29, 2010 with Urinetown, a Tony award winning musical comedy. Other season highlights include Big Love and Carousel for a total of five plays that highlight the talent of UM's performing students.

Plays & Players, Center City Philadelphia's longest continually operated theater will present Rogers and Hammerstein's classic musical 'Carousel' directed by Lance Moore May 29-June 12. Preview performances May 27 & 28 at 8pm. Show time is 8 PM with matinee performances at 3 PM on Sunday, May 30 and Sunday, June 6.
