Victory Gardens Theater has announced the 2016/17 Season Directors Inclusion Initiative Assistant Directors include Kaiser Ahmed (Hand To God), Arianna Soloway (Roz and Ray), Ameenah Kaplan (A Wonder In My Soul), Charlotte Drover (Queen), and Alyssa Vera Ramos (Native Gardens).

Skylight Theatre Company and Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble present the Los Angeles Premiere of Pulitzer Prize Finalist Bulrusher, written by Eisa Davis and directed by Nataki Garrett. Indulgences opens for the press on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

The festival offers works covering a wide range of disciplines including theater, dance, performance art, children's theater, spoken word, puppetry, comedy, improv and multimedia. This year, the Festival will present nearly 1200 performances by 202 of the world's best emerging theatre companies representing 7 countries (including Spain, Australia, Canada, England, Switzerland, and Mexico) and 16 US states (including Oregon, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, California, Florida and Illinois).

'Bash'd', the acclaimed Gay Rap Opera was just recognized by Heritage of Pride, the organizers of Gay Pride events in June in New York City, as an official Pride Event of 2008.

Stephen Kocis, Carl D. White, Paul Boskind, and Michael Filerman are proud to present the Off-Broadway Premiere of BASH'd!, the acclaimed Gay Rap Opera. Performances will begin June 12th at The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues) with Opening Night set for Monday, June 23rd.
