WICKED, the 'hit musical with brains, heart & courage' (The Sunday Telegraph) at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, today announced its sixth annual WICKED Day, a free afternoon of family fun that celebrates the award-winning production to raise funds for environmental causes in and around the local community.

WICKED, the smash hit musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, will celebrate its landmark 5th birthday tomorrow night (Tuesday 27 September 2011) at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre.

WICKED, the smash hit musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, is pleased to announce that Gina Beck and Matt Willis will join the cast on Monday 12 December 2011 to star as Glinda and Fiyero respectively. Desmond Barrit is returning to the show to play The Wizard. They will be joined by Lillie Flynn (Nessarose), Christopher Howell (Doctor Dillamond) and Adam Pettigrew (Boq).

WICKED, the hit musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, has announced that Rachel Tucker will continue in her starring role as Elphaba into 2012. Julie Legrand (Madame Morrible), Nikki Davis-Jones (Standby Elphaba) and Chloe Taylor (Standby Glinda) are also all continuing in their roles. UK Executive Producer Michael McCabe commented: 'Since first joining our cast in March 2010, Rachel has thrilled audiences and critics alike with her powerful and passionate performance as Elphaba. We are all absolutely thrilled that Rachel has now decided to continue leading the company with her extraordinary professionalism and great dedication to the role - we couldn't be more proud of her success'.

Rachel Tucker, currently starring in Wicked at the Apollo Theatre, recently appeared on the ITV skating competition Dancing on Ice to perform the Wicked's show stopping number 'Defying Gravity'. Watch the performance below!

The New York Times reports today that the producers of WICKED in the West End are cracking down on piracy, threatening an indefinite ban from the show for anyone who illegally records the musical live. This announcement comes on the heels of one fan had recorded the entire musical from their seat and posted it on YouTube.

Mandy joins a cast which includes Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Tony Award-winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Andy Karl as Fiyero, Alex Brightman as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond. The role of Elphaba is currently being played by Dee Roscioli.
