American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) and Harvard Art Museums have partnered in conjunction with the A.R.T.'s production of WARHOLCAPOTE to present a series of events highlighting the contemporary legacies of Andy Warhol and Truman Capote, including a unique encounter with Warhol screen-prints and a speaker series featuring journalists, multimedia artists, curators, and collectors.

The early success of Disney on Broadway led other successful entertainment companies to believe that conquering the Great White Way possibly was not that hard. But, as Warner Bros' first foray into the lead producing game, LESTAT, proved, it's not as easy as opening and tossing some money at marketing. And now, after a sole Broadway show, PARAMOUR, Cirque du Soleil has essentially shuttered its theatrical division, Cirque du Soleil Theatrical. A spokesperson for Cirque confirmed that former head Scott Zeiger is no longer with the company.

With the 1950s Red Scare in full swing, the House Un-American Activities Committee attacks 'subversion' in the arts. When a romance blossoms between rising comic Mickey and firebrand actress Natalie, they face being blacklisted along with their friends and fellow artists. Written by Jack's son, playwright/screenwriter Joe Gilford, this engaging play shares the story of targeted individuals in the entertainment industry suddenly faced with losing their careers, or being branded forever as 'finks.' The U.S. Premiere of Toshiki Okada's Time's Journey Through a Room opens this Sunday, May 20, at the Mezzanine Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres. Presented by The Play Company (PlayCo), led by Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Managing Director Robert G. Bradshaw, Time's Journey Through a Room is PlayCo's third collaboration with Okada, translator Aya Ogawa and director Dan Rothenberg. This haunting play, set in Japan after the Fukushima disaster, stars the Japanese-born, New York based performers Yuki Kawahisa (Honoka), Maho Honda (Arisa) and Kensaku Shinohara (Kazuki). The play is both an intimate examination of how we move forward from life-altering events, and a study of how we experience time, asking whether we can ever be alive to the present moment.

The most epic edition of New York's electronic music festival - ELECTRIC ZOO: THE BIG 10 ­- has added even more hard-hitting acts to its already star-studded lineup. The producers of the Broadway hit Waitress have announced that on September 12, 2017 Tony Award nominee Will Swenson will return to the hit Broadway musical in the role of Earl, the ne'er-do-well husband, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna, the titular pie-maker.
