Atlantic Screen Productions to Bring A VICTORIAN EYE to Jermyn Street Theatre, July 30-Aug 17

Atlantic Screen Productions presents the world premiere of A VICTORIAN EYE by Rory Fellowes. Directed by Maureen Payne-Hahner, the show features designer Tim Dann, lighting designer David W. Kidd, costume designer Lyn Avery. Starring Nigel Dunbar as Sir William Blake Richmond R.A. Produced by Tim Hollier, the show runs 30 July to 17 August Jermyn Street Theatre. Press Night 31 July 7.30pm.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of accomplished film, stage, and television actor, Jack Klugman, who passed away on Monday at age 90. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in his memory on Friday, December 28th, at exactly 8:00pm for one minute.

Commemorating the tenth anniversary of the death of playwright John McGrath, and unseen in a professional production in London since 1966, John McGrath's Events While Guarding The Bofors Gun opens at the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre for a limited four-week season from Tuesday, 22 May 2012 directed by Robert Hastie. Merrie England plays at the Finborough Theatre for a limited run of nine Sunday and Monday evening performances and Tuesday matinees, opening tonight, 27 May 2012.

Know Theatre announces its next mainstage production, the Afghan Women's Writing Project (AWWP). Know Theatre commissioned playwrights Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek to curate a performance piece from the writings available on the project website (www.awwproject.org). Ms. Martin & Ms. Hynek will also co-direct the piece. The staged reading will show March 8 - March 11, 2012. Following the Friday, March 9 performance, Executive Director Elizabeth Lehr of The Afghan Women's Writing Project will lead a post-show discussion.
